Pre-Release Workforce Empowerment Program
In 2018, Prospera launched a pre-release workforce empowerment program designed to address the staggering 70% unemployment rate returning citizens face upon release from prison. This innovative initiative allows incarcerated individuals, during their last three years in prison, to participate in an externship with private companies.
Pre-Release Apprenticeship Program
Prospera offers a two-year screen-printing apprenticeship program at Grafton Reintegration Center, certified by the U.S. Department of Labor. This exciting opportunity furnishes inmates with 4,000 hours of training. Graduates reentering society are hired with confidence by University Tees, one of our partner businesses.
Get Involved.
With the generous support of volunteers and financial donations, Prospera Reentry can expand the impact within the community that supports our mission to help prisoners re-enter life with meaningful employment and housing.
